In the days that have passed since I started my digital detox, I’ve experienced a number of milestone events. For starters, I am now engaged, and my caughter (cat-daughter) just turned 10 years old.

Been a week since I’ve gone through a digital detox. For me that means:
• Little to no social media usage (no likes, no scrolling, no commenting, no checking notifications etc.)
• Less phone pick up times
• Overall less time holding my phone and using my hands to do other things (ex: Cooking, cleaning, painting etc.)
I first heard of Fog of Love in my quest to procure gifts for my partner, and to my surprise, it happens to be one of my more unique finds for our growing collection of couples games. As lady luck would have it, I found someone who was selling her unused Kickstarter Edition on Carousell for a fraction of the price. So I took the opportunity and bought it. I was absolutely thrilled for the sale of this game so I could play it with my partner.
Last Saturday, I celebrated my relationship anniversary for the first year. In all actuality, I never thought I would be here. 2019 was the year I decided to put myself first; and, as clichéd as it may sound, I am part of the growing demographic of the “love yourself first” movement. I never did expect that in loving myself and putting myself first, that I would attract the right people in my life.
